1 - Ken
Last Place is in first!
Ken's core has positioned him has the highest scoring team after 2 weeks. I'll be honest I though Zay and Chuba were kind of gross but the numbers don't lie. Paired with Lamar and Malik it's no surprise that Ken is averaging 140 a week.
Somewhat shockingly Ken's first RB selection, Ashton Jeanty, has been one of his weaker starts. The recent influx of incredible rookies has made us forget that these things can take time, and boy should we be nervous if Jeanty figures it out.
ALL that being said, Ken started atop our rankings last year and it did him no favors as the season went on. Hence Last Place
2 - Aaron
Team Aaronmas23 rings in at our number two spot. Aaron's team has put up the second highest point total over the first two weeks, as Aaron has reminded us of repeatedly.
If there's one thing Aaron wants you to take away from his hot start, it's that he knows ball. And he wins fantasy football matchups. And to please not kick him out when he wins 3 consecutive championships.
A strong, balanced core of Hurts, Taylor, Ceedee, and Aaron-proclaimed Penn State Legend Tyler Warren will keep Aarons team relevant all year.
3 - Matt
Matt is so back!
After one of the worst fantasy football seasons (maybe ever) in the 2024 FFOE league, Matt is back to prove his last season was a fluke. To be honest with you it didn't even seem that awful last year but Matt couldn't buy a win for his life.
This year is already different, starting hot off of incredible performances form Bijan and James cook. Matt actually has 3/4 of the top fantasy running backs which is one of the nuttier stats I have seen in almost a decade of Fantasy. Surprise emergence of Justin Herbert into the elite QB conversation has also bolstered this teams peripherals.
Special congrats on becoming our most recent holder of the BOBO BELT after a week 2 victory over last years champ, Tyler.
4 - Shane
If Matt is the RB guru then Shane is the WR guru. In fact, Bob'o's Bruisers actually have the 3rd most points scored so far this year- and Shane's WR core of JSN, Nico, and #1 overall receiver Puke Nacua deserves most of the credit.
We've also seen some backfields swing in Shane's direction in week 2. The emergence of Quinshon & Skattebo are massive green flags and both will have to play a roll on the Bruisers if Shane wants to see the championship.
A lot is on the line for Shane this week as he gets a chance at the BOB'O Belt and a win will catapult over Matt in the standings.
5 - Emilio
The last of our undefeated managers is yours truly!
I like my team but I'm expecting a lot of variance here. I'm bolstered by a pair of running backs that will be getting the lions share of their backfield touches but also I have about 150 low-floor/high-ceiling receivers that will make or break these weeks.
At the end of the year, the story of WWCD is going to be largely dictated by how many boom weeks Tee Higgins, George Pickens, and Courtland Sutton combined for.
6 - Gloss
This is the point of the rankings when teams start to display one or more real positional weakness. Not to put a spotlight on our favorite retired Margarita Boy, this team is still very live. But I do think Steve's Roster is hampered by the lack of a true RB2. I do think Bill Croskey Merritt might be on the cusp of a breakout, but in this moment in time we have not seen any of Gloss's rookies emerge.
What Steve does have is Ja'Marr Chase but with so much uncertainty in Cincinnati and in Miami, he desperately needs both JCM and Henderson to become at least flex plays to move up the rankings.
7 - Savanah
First year FFOE manager Savanah Brown has shown some mettle through our first two weeks! A little light on points-for due to an errant Justin Fields start and a Derick Henry bust, this team is much better than it's score suggests.
Assistant to the QB1 has had a couple of unfortunate underperformers in Drake London and week-2 Derrick Henry. I would expect them to bounce back and with a very promising Rome Odunze I think this team can do damage.
Similarly to Steve, Savanah is just missing that one key piece on her starting roster to put up truly great numbers.
8 - Tyler
How far the mighty have fallen,
Tyler kicked off his 2025 campaign on the same war path as last year, putting up monster Week 1 numbers. Week two the wheels fell of due mostly to a Bills-Jets game in which Josh Allen and Khalil Shakir weren't necessarily required to participate.
I wish I could say that won't be a common occurrence but the Josh Allen led Bill's are literally so good that they don't have to field starters for 4 quarters and the next 4/5 games are against four of the worst teams in the league.
Regardless, I'd expect the Cowboys from Hell to stay sticky and have some massive boom games in the future.
9 - Tony
Old MakDonald is the first of our winless managers to clock in on the power rankings.
Our Autodraft King got stuck with some questionable players on draft day and was plagued early by a devastating George Kittle injury. But I really love the way Tony has rebounded this team.
Looking at his starting roster, it's really not bad and I would say it's the closest thing to a complete team. Especially once we see the return of George Kittle and Rashee.
Starting Henry in the lfex is certainly not a fun look. But Tony only needs to pick up a couple wins these next few weeks to be competitive mid season.
10 - Josh
Team jstanhope is off to a pretty tough start in 2025
I loved where Josh's head was at in the draft. Much like me, he invested heavily in rookie running backs. Unfortunately RJ Harvey and Omarion Hampton have just been outright bad for fantasy despite great underlying metrics for both (especially Hampton).
Outside of that, major contributors Brock Bowers and Egbuka have recently picked up injuries and are questionable on the week. If they arent ready to go Josh is going to be looking at some Hail Mary starts to pick up his first win.
11 - Shanni
Shanni has had a brutal start to the season in her debut year in FFOE league.
Losing Worthy game one to a Travis Kelce, his teammate both in real life and on Shanni's roster, was gutting. Believe me, I lived it too. Losing Joe Burrow (the squads namesake) might be worse.
Luckily Shanni was able to pick up browning and had a couple smash draft picks in Keenan Allen and Travis Ettienne to keep the team in the mix while AJ Brown and Terry find their footing.
After 2 losses the BurrHo's need some things to shake their way
12 - Charles
Talk about the mighty falling-
Charles went from dominating the league all the way to the championship game to putting up 189 points through 2 weeks in 2025. This team is desperately lacking consistency.
Whore Values has a squad of players that could explode every week, but it will be a miracle if they all do at once. We've already seen a lot of week-to-week volatility from this squad and now we're seeing Daniels pop up with an injury.
I'm not saying the season is over for Charles, far from it. Brian Thomas has to bounce back at some point and Aaron Jones going to IR will be absolutly massive for Jordan Mason. We may even see some later season rookie emergence for Charles in the form of Loveland and Golden.
Matchup of the Week:
Last Place vs. Team aaronmas23
Our first and second place teams duke it out for a chance at the top spot and a chance of shaking up the top half standings!
